In India, India Today reported that India’s Kandla Port set to become the first in the country to host a green hydrogen manufacturing facility. The project is expected to be operational by June 2025. The green hydrogen plant will harness renewable energy from wind and solar sources to manufacture hydrogen suitable for several industrial processes, fuelling the transportation and manufacturing industries, according to the report. This initiative is a part of the larger governmental strategy to promote green energy and cut carbon emissions, the report added.
