Japan and South Korea to set up hydrogen and ammonia supply chain

In Japan, The Japan Times reported that Japan and South Korea aim to establish a joint supply network for fuels such as hydrogen and ammonia.

According to the report, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol will announce the framework on November 17 in the United States, where they are expected to join the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting.

The report added that the two countries plan to work together to negotiate prices and volumes, while state-backed financial institutions would help companies to raise funds for hydrogen and ammonia projects outside Japan and South Korea.
