In Indonesia, Antara reported that Indonesia will offer a slate of green hydrogen ecosystem projects at the Global Hydrogen Ecosystem Summit, or GHES 2026, as it steps up efforts to attract investment and accelerate its clean energy transition.
The Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Yuliot said the government is preparing ecosystem-based hydrogen projects using renewable sources such as solar, wind, hydropower, and geothermal energy.
“We need to prepare projects that are based on a complete hydrogen ecosystem,” Yuliot said.
He noted that renewable-based hydrogen could be developed into high-value derivatives, including green ammonia, green methanol, and fuels, which offer strong export potential and support domestic energy and industrial demand, according to the report.
