In Indonesia, Palm Oil Magazine reports the Indonesian government has deployed a task force to oversee the 40% biofuel blending mandate that kicked in on January 1. Activities will include inspecting technical aspects of B40 as a preemptive measure to insure compliance instead of waiting until infractions had been made. The government has approved a quote of 1.57 billion liters for the 2025 marketing year.
