India’s Supreme Court rejects case seeking pump access to ethanol-free gas

In India, the Hindu Business Line reports the Supreme Court has thrown out a case brought by a complainant who is demanding the government ensure availability of ethanol-free gas at the pump to ensure consumers have a choice if they believe E20 will damage their vehicles. The lawyer representing the government said the case brought before the court was done so in the name of a hidden lobby and that the government has done all the necessary research to ensure the fuel is safe.
