In India, BioEnergy Times reported that the Indian Army has officially incorporated biodiesel into its fuel network.
The initiative was inaugurated at a ceremony in New Delhi, where the first batch of biodiesel was received by Lieutenant General Pushpendra Pal Singh, Vice Chief of the Army Staff, according to the report.
By integrating biodiesel, the Indian Army has embarked on a pivotal shift toward cleaner fuel options designed to cut carbon emissions and strengthen its long-term energy security. This step closely follows the Armed Forces’ adoption of E-20 petrol on 1 December 2025, further reinforcing their commitment to sustainable mobility, according to the report.
