In Norway, HydePoint, a specialist in offshore hydrogen production technology, has entered into a strategic partnership with Norwegian Hydrogen, a producer and distributor of green hydrogen. The collaboration aims to accelerate the development of mid-size 10-40 MW dockside and near-shore green hydrogen projects, focusing on scaling hydrogen production within a 2-3 year timeframe while laying the foundation for large-scale, offshore wind-integrated hydrogen ventures in the next phase. The partnership will leverage HydePoint’s innovative technology for hydrogen production in maritime environments alongside Norwegian Hydrogen’s expertise in developing and operating hydrogen infrastructure. Initially, the focus will be on near-shore projects, combining both companies’ capabilities to deliver mid-size green hydrogen solutions that can help industries transition to zero-emissions energy. “We are excited to partner with HydePoint as part of our mission to deliver reliable, green hydrogen solutions in Europe.
