In Ukraine, APK Inform reported that th gross grain harvest in the Russian Federation this year will reach 137.1 million tons, including 88.2 million tons of wheat.
This consensus forecast was prepared by the Price Index Center (PIC) based on the latest quarterly survey of analysts.
“The shortfall of grain in the south, which shaped negative assessments in August, was more than offset by the good results of the Volga region and Central Russia,” PIC explained.
At the same time, the estimates for next year have decreased. The forecast for the grain harvest in 2026 now stands at 135.3 million tons against the previous 137.8 million tons, including wheat at 85.9 million tons against 89 million tons.
Wheat exports from the Russian Federation in the 2025/26 season are forecast at 43 million tons, the report added.
