August 14, 2025 |

Greenlyte Carbon Technologies will supply e-methanol from its planned LiquidSolar facility in Marl, Germany, to MB Energy Holding under a newly signed offtake agreement. The companies have also outlined plans for potential future supply from additional projects.

The agreement follows Greenlyte securing multi-million-euro funding from the European Union and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It covers a seven-figure term sheet. The length of the offtake and the start of commercial operation were not disclosed.

MB Energy, founded in 1947, has operations across Europe, the United States and Singapore in fuel logistics, trading and distribution. Greenlyte’s fully electric LiquidSolar process produces e-methanol and other e-fuels intended for industrial and mobility hubs in Europe and beyond.
