In Brazil, Bloomberg reports global bond holders of Raízen, a Brazilian ethanol and sugar producer, are close to hiring Moelis as a financial advisor amid the company’s increased financial difficulties, according to people familiar with the matter heard by Bloomberg News. No contract has been signed yet, one of the people said, asking not to be identified as the negotiations are not public. Moelis declined to comment. The group also hired White & Case for legal advice, people familiar with the matter said on Tuesday.
