Gap in Ukraine grain exports from last year’s volume exceeded 9 million tons

In Ukraine, UkrAgroConsult reported that the volume of grain and pulses crops exports from Ukraine in the 2024/25 MY as of June 6 amounted to over 38.6 million tons, which is 9.1 million tons, or 19% less than in the same period last season, according to data from the State Customs Service, published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

The report noted that almost 15 million tons of wheat were shipped this season, which is 15% less than last year’s volumes.

Meanwhile, corn exports amounted to 20.8 million tons, which is 23% less than shipments on the same date last season, the report added.
