In Argentina, Reuters reported that early frosts in the coming days could affect Argentina’s 2024/25 corn yields, with production estimated at 39 million tons, the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange (BdeC) said in its weekly crop report.
“Frost forecasts for the coming days could have a negative impact on expected yields. The areas where these events are expected are the center, west, and south of the province of Buenos Aires and the province of La Pampa,” the BdeC said.
Regarding the 2024/25 soybean harvest, the Stock Exchange reported that rain in recent days delayed the start of the soybean harvest, whose production the entity estimates at 48.6 million tons.
