In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production fell by an average of 22,000 barrels per day last week to 1.098 million barrels per day, but even so, refiners purchased volumes fell to a three-year low, boosting stocks to 23.652 million barrels. That figure is 708,000 barrels higher than the previous week but still half a million barrels lower than last year at the same time. Exports fell by 35,000 bpd to 113,000 barrels per day.
