In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Agency data shows ethanol production fell to a five-week low of 1.076 million barrels last week. The slight reduction in volumes helped to increase crush margins for a typical ethanol plant in Iowa despite being only 5,000 bpd compared to the week prior. Lower production weighed slightly on stocks at 24.117 million barrels, 287,000 barrels below the week before. Ethanol exports continued to rise at 131,000 barrels per day, 21,000 bpd higher.
