In Washington, the National Association of Farm Broadcasters reports Energy Information administration data shows ethanol production rose during Christmas week for the fourth week in a row to an average of 1.111 million barrels per day. The biggest jump in production was seen in the Midwest region, although there was a slight increase on the West Coast as well. At the same time, ethanol stocks rose to their highest level since mid-September to 23.639 million barrels.
