In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production rose to 1.081 million barrels per day but even so, stocks fell to 22.223 million barrels, representing an increase of 39,000 bpd but a stock drop of 52,000 barrels. Stocks are 877,000 barrels higher than the same time last year, however. Exports fell 34,000 bpd to 106,000 barrels per day. Analysts believe crush margins have increased slightly, remaining well above break even levels.
