Ethanol production reaches a new all-time high

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports ethanol production has risen to another all time high of 1.031 million barrels per day, 26,000 bpd higher than last week and similarly more than the same time last year. Three of the four all-time highs have occurred in just the past six weeks but even with record production runs, though margins remain positive, they’re still well below those seen earlier this year. Even with higher production, ethanol stocks fell 157,000 barrels to 22.353 million barrels as exports increased to 191,000 barrels per day, an increase of 66,000 bpd from the week prior.
