Ethanol production falls below 1M BPD for first time since May

In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production fell to 995,000 barrels per day as seasonal maintenance continues ahead of factories taking in new corn from the current harvest. Production dipped below 1 million bpd for the first time since May. Ethanol stocks fell by 704,000 barrels to 22.764 million barrels as demand remains strong while exports also fell to 88,000 barrels per day, down 24,000 bpd from the prior week.
