In Argentina, EcoNews reports Essential Energy signed an agreement with Embraer to evaluate aspects of the production and distribution of biofuels for rural Argentine producers. They estimate that in the coming months the units that operate on bioethanol will be commercialized to perform spraying work in fields in the region and throughout the country.
Although Argentina has production capacity, there is currently no large-scale distribution that facilitates agricultural aviation access to ethanol. The objective of the agreement is precisely to evaluate the technical specifications, quality, production and distribution of biofuel in Argentine territory.
Both firms say that the Ipanema is the leader in sales in Brazil with more than 1700 units delivered and that it is the aircraft preferred by operators to offer low operating costs, maximum productivity and precision among the spray equipment of the market. With an efficiency equivalent to four large soil sprayers applied simultaneously that model, fed by ethanol, sprays more than 200 hectares per hour, providing a regular application of very high quality, without crushing the soil or propagating pests by contact, generating a result for the field of up to 15 additional bags per hectare.
