In the UK, ERM said it has supported the HYTLANTIC Joint Venture in the preparation of its successful application to the European Union’s Innovation Fund. HYTLANTIC’s GreenH2Atlantic project has been awarded $63.5 million by the Innovation Fund, which is designed to support low-carbon technologies and projects that contribute to the decarbonization of European industry and help to boost the region’s competitiveness. The project will deploy 100 MW of hydrogen production capacity powered by wind and solar renewable electricity sources to supply hydrogen to the Sines refinery, in Portugal, and for blending in the natural gas grid. ERM’s services included strategic project review, proposal preparation and ongoing project support.
