In California, iGrow News reported that Enpower Corp., a California-based independent energy producer, announced that it closed the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, Wadham Energy Limited Partnership. The buyer is High Rock Energy LLC and HR Energy GP, collectively referred to as the High Rock Energy Group.
The transaction transfers ownership of a 27 MW rice husk biomass-fueled energy facility located in Colusa County, California. The facility has been in operation for more than three decades and serves both the state’s electricity market and the local rice milling industry, according to the report.
High Rock Energy Group indicated that the transition of ownership will not result in operational changes at the facility.
