In Australia, Australian clean-tech company Endua said has secured $3.16 million in funding through the Australian Government’s Industry Growth Program, helping the company to advance the performance and manufacturing growth of its proprietary PEM electrolyser technology.
Endua’s AHEAD project (Advanced Hydrogen Electrolyser for Australian Decarbonisation) aligns with national priorities to grow clean energy industries and reduce reliance on imported technologies, the firm said.
At the core of the project is Endua’s high-performance PEM (proton exchange membrane) electrolyser – a modular, all-in-one product designed for on-site hydrogen production. The system’s compact footprint, flexible output and plug-and-play configuration simplifies deployment, and reduces the burden on project developers by minimizing site works, infrastructure and commissioning complexity, the firm added.
“This funding represents an exciting milestone in our mission to deliver world-leading hydrogen electrolyzer products directly to the industries and locations where they’re needed most,” said Paul Sernia, CEO of Endua. “It will enable us to build critical local supply chain capability and manufacturing expertise, positioning us to capture future growth opportunities both in Australia and internationally.”
