EcoCeres concerned about EU’s way of trying to reduce fraudulent Chinese imports

In China, the South China Morning Post newspaper reports EcoCeres has voiced concerns about the European Union’s treatment of biodiesel imports from China that aims to prohibit fraudulent trade. The company’s CEO says the way the new rules are written is discriminatory to product coming from outside the EU. He says the current system is redundant and could lead to inefficiencies but a streamlined, centralized framework could maintain consistency and reduce potential future supply disruptions.
