E15 may make into stopgap government-funding measure

In Washington, Bloomberg reports E15 may at last become a reality year-round as part of a stopgap government-funding measure currently under negotiation that would avoid a government shut down for the next three months. Although the final bill that will be taken to the House floor is still be ironed out, which means there’s a chance the E15 language could be dropped, the oil lobby has teamed with the ethanol and corn lobbies in their mutual fight against electric vehicles so there is a chance it would get through.
