In Brazil, Safras & Mercado reported that the planting of corn for the 2025/26 season in Argentina has reached 81% of the projected area, estimated at 10,471,246 hectares nationwide, according to the Ministry of Agriculture ,
Progress shows an acceleration compared to the previous week, when implementation stood at 73% , reflecting better operating conditions in most of the production areas in the country, according to the report.
In year-on-year comparisons, progress remains at similar levels, since in the same period of the previous campaign, planting reached 82% of the total estimated.
