In Brazil, Global Agriculture reported that Conab is estimating that Brazilian farmers will increase their 2025/26 soybean acreage by 3.66% to 49.08 million hectares.
The states with the largest increases are Mato Grosso (+395,500 hectares), Mato Grosso do Sul (+232,100 hectares), and Bahia (+199,800 hectares).
The report also noted that the average nationwide yield is estimated at 60.33 sacks per hectare. Brazil’s 2025/26 soybean production is estimated at 177.67 million tons, up 3.61%, the report added.
