Chinese ethanol company planning investments in Cambodia

In Cambodia, the Kampuchea Thmey Daily newspaper the Xingtai Shunhe Biotechnology Co., Ltd. from Hebei Province, China, have expressed their interest in investing in clean energy and renewable energy to help improve energy security and ensure reduced environmental impacts in Cambodia. The investment objective was discussed during a meeting between the Secretary General of the Cambodia Investment Committee of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), and the President of Xingtai Shunhe Biotechnology Co., Ltd. on the morning of July 23 at the CDC.

Xingtai is a leading company in the supply of energy (ethanol fuel) in China. In addition, the company also has 72 its own gas stations in China. Through this working meeting, the company is more willing to invest and strengthen cooperation in the energy sector with Cambodia, as well as contribute to the development of the energy sector in the future.
