In Ukraine, UkrAgroConsult reported that China’s grain and tuber output is expected to further expand in 2025 after a record 706.5 million tons harvested last year , according to a report released by the Agricultural Forecasting Expert Council of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
The report noted that grain and tuber output is expected to reach 709 million tons in 2025, driven by efforts to increase yields per unit area on a large scale and farmers’ growing enthusiasm for grain production.
Soybean output is forecast to rise 2.5% year-on-year to 21.17 million tons in 2025, it added.
