In China, Reuters reports the Chinese government has granted Zhejiang Jiaao Enprotech a rare state-granted export license for sustainable aviation fuel, one of the first to be issued. More than $1 billion has been invested in Chinese SAF production for both domestic consumption and potential exports. Zhejiang Jiaao Enprotech’s new 372,400 ton facility that is 15% owned by bp will come into full production this year. The export license is already for exports during 2025.
