In Brazil, Globo Rural reported that Brazil shipped 8.12 million tons of soybean in August, 84% of which were destined for Chinese ports, according to data from the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec),
China’s share of Brazilian soybean purchases has grown significantly this year. Over the past four years, the Asian country accounted for 74% of Brazil’s exports, the report stated.
By the end of 2025, that figure will rise to 78%, according to Anec.
