In Vietnam, VNA reported that The People’s Committee of Ca Mau province, in Vietnam, has approved the investment policy for the Nam Can waste-to-energy plant, with a total investment of approximately $68.4 million.
The project will be implemented through a competitive bidding process to select an investor, according to the report.
The waste-to-energy plant is planned for construction in Dat Moi commune, covering a total area of about 20 hectares.
It will have a waste treatment capacity of approximately 600 tons of household waste per day and a power generation capacity of 6MW, the report added.
