In the UK, Business Airport International reported that the Business Aviation Coalition for Sustainable Aviation Fuel is urging aircraft operators traveling to the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos-Klosters to secure SAF through their fuel providers and FBOs.
The coalition highlighted that over 100 FBOs worldwide now offer physical SAF uplift, including Jet Aviation at Zurich Airport, a primary hub for WEF-bound traffic. For operators departing locations without physical SAF availability, the coalition emphasized the Book and Claim system as an alternative to reduce emissions and demonstrate market demand.
“Business aviation is the testing ground for the most effective decarbonization technologies in flight,” the coalition stated. “As the world’s most influential voices gather to discuss planetary boundaries and sustainable growth, we invite them to lead by example by utilizing the SAF infrastructure that our industry has pioneered.”
