Bunge Brazil certifies sustainable soybeans for SAF

January 6, 2026 |

In Kenya, Milling Middle East & Africa reported that Bunge Brazil has achieved a landmark certification for sustainable soybeans destined for SAF production.

The certification, announced late December 2025, verifies traceability and sustainability metrics across the supply chain and aligns with International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) standards for biofuel feedstocks.

The certification is from SCS Global Services under the ISCC CORSIA PLUS protocol, recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), according to the report.

The certification includes the ISCC CORSIA PLUS Low-LUC seal, which guarantees traceability and compliance with strict agricultural practices, it added.

The certified volumes, initially estimated at 100,000 tons, support SAF producers such as Brazilian airlines and international refiners aiming for net-zero flights by 2050.
