In Brazil, Poder 360 reported that the Brazilian soybean harvest for the 2024/2025 period is estimated at around 168.15 million tons, according to Biond Agro.
“The largely favorable weather conditions in most of the country support this performance, reinforcing Brazil’s leadership in the global soybean market,” said Felipe Jordy, intelligence and strategy manager at Biond Agro.
The report noted that the country’s Center-West region remains the main producer, with an estimated production of 80.79 million tons. However, the report noted that the South region faces challenges due to the La Nina phenomenon, which has caused prolonged periods of drought, affecting productivity.
