Brazil’s soybean exports up 9% in July

In Ukraine, UkrAgroConsult reported that Brazil exported 12.3 million tons of soybeans in July 2025, up 9% from a year earlier, according to the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services

Meanwhile, soybean export revenues fell 1.2% to $5 billion, as the average soybean price also fell 7.1%.

The increase in exports was influenced by a surge in purchases from China, which imported a record 11.67 million tons of soybeans in July, up 18.5% from a year earlier.

Brazil has displaced the United States as China’s top soybean supplier this season, and shipments are expected to continue to grow, according to the report.

Brazil’s soybean production forecasts for the 2025/26 season are rising. Experts estimate the upcoming harvest at 177.2 million tons, which is 2.5% more than the record season of marketing year 2024/25. Exports are expected to amount to 110 million tons against 106 million tons last season, the report added.
