Brazil’s 2025/26 corn crop is projected at 135.3 million tons

In Brazil, Forbes reported that Brazil’s total corn production for the 2025/26 season is expected to reach 135.3 million tons, compared to the record 141.1 million tons registered in the previous harvest, according to an estimate released by AgRural.

AgRural also said it maintained its projection for Brazil’s soybean production in the 2025/26 crop year at 178.5 million tons.

Soybean planting reached 94% of the estimated area by last Thursday, according to a survey by the consulting firm, advancing from 89% the previous week and compared to 95% in the same period last year,
