Brazil to reach record grain harvest of 340 million tons

July 13, 2025 |

In Brazil, EFE Agro reported that Brazil expects to reach a record grain harvest of 339.6 million tons this year, a 14.2% increase compared to the previous season, the National Supply Company (Conab) said in its latest report.

The increase is mainly due to “favorable weather, an expansion of the planted area and greater technological investment,” Conab said.

The cultivated area in the South American country will reach 81.8 million hectares this year, representing a 2.3% year-over-year increase, the report added.
