Brazil harvested almost 90% of the 2024/25 soybean area, Conab finds

In Brazil, Canal Rural reported that Brazil’s National Supply Company (Conab) stated that the 2024/25 soybean harvest in Brazil reached 88.3% of the cultivated area, an increase of 3 percentage points compared to the previous week.

There was an advance of 5.2 percentage points in relation to the same moment of the last harvest, when 83.2% had been harvested. In comparison with the average of the last five years (87.4%), the work is 0.9 percentage points ahead, according to the report.

The report also revealed that among the 12 states that grow the oilseed, the harvest has ended in São Paulo. Mato Grosso has 99.7% of the area harvested, Goiás has 99% and Tocantins, 98%. Rio Grande do Sul, with 44%, is the state with the smallest area harvested at this time.
