In Singapore, Manifold Times reports in June 2025, Singapore delivered 4.59 million metric tonnes of marine fuel, including 156,200 tonnes of bio-blended fuel and just over 1,000 tonnes of B100 biofuel, according to Maritime and Port Authority data. Conventional fuels still accounted for more than 95% of all deliveries, totaling 4.38 million tonnes, while LNG contributed another 55,400 tonnes.
The bio-blended volumes, spanning mixes with gas oil, and fuel oil, show incremental uptake in low-emission alternatives at the world’s top bunkering port. Among these, bio-blended low sulfur fuel oil led with 114,300 tonnes, followed by bio-blended marine fuel oil at 38,800 tonnes. No ammonia or methanol deliveries were recorded for the month.
Singapore introduced B100 earlier this year, and June marked one of its first full months of availability. While still nascent in volume, the combined bio-blended and B100 deliveries now edge above 3% of total marine fuel sales—an uptick from barely 1% a year ago.
