BIC and RCI to present results of sustainable biomass supply chain at webinar next week

In Belgium, the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) and the Renewable Carbon Initiative (RCI) partnered up in an extensive modelling project which investigated how much biomass might be sustainably available for the chemical and derived material industries. The results – exploring the critical question: “Can biomass sustainably supply 20% of the carbon needs of the chemical and feedstock industries by 2050?” – will be presented in an insightful webinar next week Monday, February 3, open to all interested stakeholders.
