In Florida, Banyan Air Service announced it is now offering sustainable aviation fuel making it one of the first South Florida FBOs to commit to SAF from the fuel’s new Port Everglades supply point. The SAF supplied through Avfuel is blended at a 30% SAF to 70% conventional jet fuel ratio. This fuel meets ASTM D-1655 specifications, ensuring seamless compatibility with existing aircraft and infrastructure, the company said. “Offering SAF is a monumental step for Banyan and the aviation community at FXE,” said Banyan Air Service COO Jon Tonko. “As the most effective way to reduce the environmental footprint of aviation today, SAF aligns with Banyan’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and supporting our customers in their efforts to fly greener.”
