In California, IndexBox reported that sorghum market in Asia-Pacific is forecast to expand at a CAGR of 2.8% during the 2024-2035 period.
The report stated that the market is projected to reach 22 million tons and $7.6 billion in value by the end of 2035.
The value of the sorghum market in Asia-Pacific surged to $5.3 billion in 2024, with an increase of 19% against the previous year.
In value terms, China ($3.3 billion), India ($1.8 billion) and Australia ($75 million) were the countries with the highest levels of market value in 2024, with a combined 97% share of the total market, the report added.
