In Brazil, UOL reports data data from the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), compiled by AE-Taxas, showed average hydrated ethanol prices rose in 15 states, fell in another 4 and the Federal District was steady in the week ended January 3. In Amapá there was no measurement.
In the posts surveyed by the ANP throughout the country, the average price of ethanol rose 0.22% compared to the previous week, at R$ 4.49 a liter. In São Paulo, the main producer state, consumer and with more posts evaluated, the price was stable, at R$ 4.28 a liter.
