Angola opens public consultation on proposed biofuels law

In Angola, Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas (MIREMPET) launched a public consultation on December 15 for proposed biofuels law that aims to lay the foundations for the construction of a more diversified, sustainable and socially just energy matrix, oriented to the attraction of investment and the inclusion of rural communities.

The document aims to affirm itself as a dynamic instrument of public policy, capable of boosting the development of the biofuels sector in the country. The contributions collected during the meeting will be consolidated in the final text of the diploma, in articulation with the National Agency for Petroleum and Biofuels (ANPG) and other institutional partners.
