In Brazil, CompreRural reported that Brazil’s soybean exports in April were estimated at 14.3 million tons, a reduction of 200,000 tons compared to last week’s forecast, according to data from the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec).
This estimated volume for the month would represent a growth of 6.3% compared to the same period last year, according to the report.
In the first quarter, Brazil’s soybean exports increased by around 1 million tons compared to the same period last year, to 26.57 million tons, with China seeking the product in Brazil in the face of the trade war with the United States, the report added.
