In Brazil, Dinheiro Rural reported that Brazil’s exports of soybeans, soybean meal, corn and wheat in January are expected to end January above initial projections, according to data by the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec).
The country’s soybean shipments were estimated at 2.19 million tons, compared to 1.71 million in the previous week’s projection. The volume, if confirmed, would be below the 2.4 million tons shipped in the same month of 2024, according to the report.
Anec sees corn exports at 2.98 million tons, a slight adjustment compared to the 2.90 million the previous week, but a drop compared to January last year (3.5 million tons).
Meanwhile, Brazil’s wheat exports were estimated at 662,090 tons in January, against 519,290 tons in the previous projection.
