Anec forecasts exports of 1.71 million tons of soybeans from Brazil in January

In Brazil, Noticias Agricolas reported that Brazil’s soybean exports in January are estimated at 1.71 million tons, according to data from the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec).

The volume, if confirmed, would be below the 2.4 million tons shipped in the same month in 2024, according to the Anec.

Corn exports were forecast at 2.9 million tons this month, also below the 3.5 million recorded a year earlier.

The report also noted that Anec also estimated 519,290 tons of wheat exported, compared to 685,171 in January 2024.
