AMAGGI and Inpasa to create JV for at least 3 corn-based ethanol plants in Brazil

September 1, 2025 |

In Brazil, AMAGGI and Inpasa confirm the agreement for the creation of a joint venture aimed at the construction of at least three plants for the manufacture of corn ethanol in the state of Mato Grosso. The investment will represent another advance in the expansion plan of companies, focusing on the industrialization of commodities and generating higher value added to the production chain.

The partnership counts the solid performance of AMAGGI in the areas of grain origination and logistics and the expertise of Inpasa, the largest producer and national reference in the manufacture of biomass based on corn and other cereals.

Each of the plants should have the initial capacity to process approximately 2 million tons of corn per year and the Municipality initially contemplated with the investments will be Rondonópolis. The studies are also advancing in relation to Campo Novo do Parecis and Querencia, which should also receive this investment.
