In Canada, Aduro Clean Technologies has partnered with Siemens Canada to supply advanced control and data systems for Aduro’s Next Generation Process Pilot Plant, expected to be commissioned in Q3 2025. Siemens will provide its SIMATIC PCS neo system, instrumentation, operator interfaces, and engineering services, collaborating with plant builder Zeton Inc.. Aduro CEO Ofer Vicus stated this partnership enhances the plant’s safety, reliability, and data generation, which is crucial for optimizing performance and planning the future Demonstration Plant, thereby supporting Aduro’s commercialization path. Aduro’s Hydrochemolytic™ Technology uses water and catalysis to convert polymers selectively at moderate temperatures, differing from pyrolysis and producing valuable hydrocarbons with less energy and fewer by-products. Siemens’ expertise in chemical recycling and tools like digital twin development are essential for scaling Aduro’s process towards commercial operations.
