In Paraguay, Agencia IP reported that ADA Green Hydrogen Holdings plans an investment of more than $100 million for the construction of a green hydrogen and ammonia production plant in the town of Villa Hayes, which would begin operating in the first quarter of 2028.
The plant will be based in the city of Villa Hayes, due to the significant logistical advantages that the area offers, and which allows for scalable production capacity, according to the report.
“We are proud to highlight the transformative impact of our $100 million investment in Paraguay’s green hydrogen sector. For our company, it represents a strategic milestone in advancing sustainable energy solutions globally while fostering economic growth and environmental stewardship in a key market like Paraguay,” the firm said.
